New Blog Started for our Barnesalona League !
A league that was created by this chap, with pure enjoyment and friendly football in mind.
Story so far for the new season 2006-2007...
* 10 teams are in
* We have a new Cup - the Barnesalona Shield to compliment the James Rettie Cup.
* New team has started - Nellie's Rangers FC
* Said has found a name.. Ladbrooke Groovers FC
* Munchen have changed their name to Uncle Bob FC
* The rest have kept their names
* We have some new kits on the go
* Some corner flags (...), some pitches, referees, players, managers, club house, footballs, nets, pegs, net clips, groundsman, changing rooms, showers (photo attached) ...
.....This will be the 4th year that I am running the Barnesalona League; and I hope it will be a good one ! There were a few incidents last season (and maybe that of the previous season), but here's hoping the true spirit of the league is found, and we can enjoy.
Enough of this - let the football do the talking.
